A several months ago I upgraded to Windows But, all of a sudden it won’t open! Double click icon on task bar I tried re-installing it I ran Windows troubleshooter and it says the program is incompatible!
It worked at one time!!! Any ideas how to make it work??? After it runs, I click on “test program” and nothing happens! I get an hourglass next to mouse for a few seconds then nothing. That is why I came here. I would suggest that you install the program in question in compatibility mode and check if it works. To do so, refer to the link provided in the above post.
Following the procedure as above takes me to “Compatibility mode” and says ” Run program in compatibility mode” there is no apparent way to install a program in compatibility mode.
Furthermore it asks which OS to make it compatible with and does not list Windows 10, only previous versions. Are you using the latest version of VirtualBox from the website. I can confirm that VirtualBox is compatible and does run in Windows 10, you shouldn’t need to run in compatibility mode.
